Test marble thoroughly with dark grout by: Pick black grout to use between white tile to create an appealing contrast. Plus the black grout colors are more like charcoal gray, so they'll look faded and the white grout will be dirty before you even get to walk on it.

My thinking is the grout is being absorbed into the edges of the tile and bleeding into the tiles. Cabinetry and countertop are white too but i've already picked a nice blue green wall color and some fun, colorful decor and accessories. But there's a lot of nuance here.
